āHow does it feel? Being stuck in a black void of warped space and time? Pretty bad, right? Itās my miracle, an end to all things.ā - Diavolo (Diaboro, ćć£ć¢ćć) []
Summary:[]
King Crimson: Alternate Universe, often shortened to KC:AU, is the non-canonical version of King Crimson that appears in the light novel: Jorge Joestar, a non-canon story in the JoJo universe.
King Crimson: Alternate Universeās main abilities consist of different punches and strikes, all of which deal a high amount of damage. It also has a sub-stand named Epitaph, which grants the user immunity to most stand abilities and moves when activated.
This stand is a part of the Arrow Stand Pool, in which it has a 2% chance (S-Tier percentage) of obtaining from a Stand Arrow. To obtain its Shiny, King Crimson: Alternative Universe (Black & White), the user would need to use a Monochromatic Sphere on King Crimson: Alternate Universe.
You can also use the Requiem Arrow to unlock the requiem ability of this Stand. By pressing the B button after activating requiem, you will transform into King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe.
Appearance:[]
King Crimson: Alternate Universe is a humanoid stand of a height and build similar to Diavoloās, but tends to look much bigger and taller. Its upper body is covered by a raised diagonal grid; save for its face, neck, shoulder guards, elbows, hands, abdomen, crotch, legs, knees, and feet/footwear.
Its eyes comprise of sharp orifices of a steep inward slant; from which emerge small, round eyes without sclera, with pronounced eye sockets that have the same fragmented pupils that Diavolo himself has. Its crown is flat and from its forehead emerges a raised level that bears a smaller, oval face of the same expression. It constantly bares its teeth through a small mouth.
The aforementioned second face on King Crimson's forehead is named Epitaph. Epitaph presents itself as a bump on the forehead featuring eyes and a mouth, often mimicking King Crimson's current mood.
As for King Crimson: Alternate Universe (Black & White), benefiting its name, most of this variant's body is seen as black and white with some gray.
Movesets/Abilities:
Type of Ability | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
When the user's health is low, the higher your speed is. The default walkspeed is 16. At 25% of your maximum health, you will have 40 walkspeed. This also speeds up your attack cooldowns. | ||
Your Stamina goes down every time you use a attack, and your stamina will rise when you arent using any moves that consume stamina. The lower your stamina is, the less damage your moves do, and the longer the attack cooldowns are. When you have no stamina left, your attacks will have half their original damage and have doubled cooldowns. The maximum stamina is 500. |
Key | Name | Description | Damage | Cooldown |
---|---|---|---|---|
Severing Chop Rush | King Crimson: Alternate Universe turns its original counterpart's Severing Chop into a rush attack of three to seven fast chops, which each deal superior damage. This uses up 20 stamina. | |||
Mighty Blow | King Crimson: Alternate Universe uses its left arm to pound the enemy with a potent punch. This attack deals a great amount of damage while dealing good knockback and ragdolling the enemy. This uses up 35 stamina. | |||
Future Sight | King Crimson: Alternate Universe uses Epitaph to predict the next 10 seconds of time. The user uses this to dodge incoming attacks accordingly except the Over Heaven Stands' T moves, and GER's R move. The user cannot attack during this period. To disable this before the 10 seconds duration, press T again. This can be used to surprise enemies. | |||
Heart Strike | King Crimson: Alternate Universe uses its left arm to grab the target, impaling their heart with an incredibly powerful punch that deals superior damage. Then, KC:AU throws the enemy away. This uses up 50 stamina. Note: you can't use Y while you are in F (Alternate Time Erasure) and it bypasses invincibility and dodges. |
|||
Alternate Time Erasure | King Crimson: Alternate Universe erases time for up to 5 seconds. Although it can't erase much time as the original King Crimson can, or give you a speed boost and the ability to noclip through certain buildings and areas, it is able to attack opponents during this short period. The attacks don't deal damage, however, until your Time Erasure ends. However, using your R will ragdoll them. This can be easily avoided by guarding. Or just running. Or countering. Note: This move can be canceled by Gold Experience Requiem's Return To Zero ability (RTZ). Similar to regular King Crimson.
|
|||
King Crimson: Alternate Universe slams the enemies ankle with its leg, ragdolling anyone it hits. If this hits someone, they will be slowed and the leg KC:AU hit will be stuck ragdolled for 20 seconds with a bleed effect that deals 4 damage every second. This uses up 45 stamina. | ||||
King Crimson: Alternate Universe shoves its fist into the ground, instantly teleporting anyone nearby into their grasps, and donuts them. This move can only be used when you are at 25% or below health, and with at least 375 stamina. Uses up 175 stamina. | ||||
While blocking, King Crimson: Alternate Universe is able to quickly jab an attacking enemy to deal moderate damage and knock them back a fair distance. If you hit the opponent while theyāre attacking with this, their attack will be cancelled. | ||||
Slide | Rather than just rolling on the floor, King Crimson: Alternate Universe's user slides forwards. It has a larger travel distance than a roll and has a slightly shorter cooldown. When you bump into someone during this move, they will ragdoll. This uses up 5 stamina. Note: If you time your slide, you can go under thrown knives, dodging them. You can also do it with the Space Ripper Stingy Eyes, however, it's more difficult. |
|||
Stand Propulsion | King Crimson: Alternate Universe uses its legs to blast itself and the user forward. This type of stand jump is similar to Gold Experience Requiem's (before it's rework), in that it has lower vertical and higher horizontal distance. However, it isn't as strong. | |||
King Crimson: Alternate Universe erases time very briefly, teleporting its user a few studs forward in the direction they're facing. This can teleport you through enemies as well as allow you to attack almost immediately after doing so. And this skill can also teleport through thin walls. It's a good idea to use this move to set up flank attacks. Or running away, whichever you want. | ||||
By using a Requiem Arrow beforehand, the user can activate this ability to temporarily evolve King Crimson: Alternate Universe into its Requiem Form: King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe. |
