Summary[]

King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe is the requiem form of King Crimson: Alternate Universe, obtained by a power known as Requiem. This Stand was used by an alternate universe's Diavolo at the climax of an alternate world's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Vento Aureo.

This Stand is one of the strongest on the battlefield. With its highly damaging moves and highly mobile passives, this Stand can be very deadly.

King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe is obtained through using a Requiem Arrow on the user, making the user's Requiem Obtained: True. The user can then press (B) with King Crimson: Alternate Universe, which grants them this Stand for 1 minute and 40 seconds. As for its shiny, it can be obtained when the user activates requiem on Monochromatic King Crimson: Alternate Universe

Appearance[]

King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe is a humanoid stand, with its upper body covered by a white cloak, and its abdomen having a white X on it. It also has a red hood with two triangular pieces protruding from it. On its belt, it has the shape of the head of a Requiem Arrow.

Its eyes are covered with a gray blindfold with a white diagonal four-pointed star with a red outline, and from its forehead emerges a raised level that bears a smaller, oval face of the same expression.

The aforementioned second face on KCR:AU's forehead is named Epitaph. Epitaph presents itself as a bump on the forehead featuring eyes and a mouth, often mimicking KCR:AU's current mood.

As for its shiny, Monochromatic King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe, the main difference is that it has a black rather than red, and it is monochromatic, befitting its name.

Movesets/Abilities[]

Type of Ability Name Description
Passive A
Transformation
This stand is only usable for a set amount of time and will return to its original form once the time is up.
Passive B
Retribution
When the user's health is low, the higher their speed is. The default walkspeed is 16. At 12% of their maximum health, they will have 65 walkspeed. This also speeds up their attack cooldowns and gives more distance to their stand jump.
Passive C
Stamina
Your Stamina goes down every time you use a attack, and your stamina will rise when you arent using any moves that consume stamina. The lower your stamina is, the less damage your moves do, and the longer the attack cooldowns are. When you have no stamina left, your attacks will have half their original damage and have doubled cooldowns. The maximum stamina is 500.
Passive D
"This is my miracle, an end to all things."
Your moves have a minimum damage, that being 83% of their base damage, being that if you attack an enemy that is blocking that negates more than 17% of your move's base damage, it will be ignored and only deal 83%.

Key Name Description Damage Cooldown
Ekey
Evolved Chop Rush King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe turns its original counterpart's Severing Chop into a rush attack of three to seven fast chops, which each deal superior damage. This uses up 20 stamina.

R
Evolved Piercing Blow King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe uses its left arm to ram its fist through the enemy with a potent punch. This attack deals a great amount of damage while dealing good stun and ragdolling the enemy, but not doing much knockback. This uses up 35 stamina. This move also does double damage if it hits from behind.
Great Strength

T
Future Sight King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe uses Epitaph to predict the next 10 seconds of time. The user uses this to dodge incoming attacks accordingly except the Over Heaven Stands' T moves, and GER's R move. Unlike its base form, the user is able to attack during this period. To disable this before the 10 seconds duration, press T again. This can be used to surprise enemies.

Grab King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe uses its left arm to grab the target by the neck, which halves all their damage while grabbed. This uses up 50 stamina.

Note: you can't use Y while you are in F (Alternate Time Erasure) and it bypasses invincibility and dodges.

Alternate Time Erasure King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe erases time for up to 8 seconds. Although it can't erase much time as the original King Crimson can, or give you a speed boost and the ability to noclip through certain buildings and areas, it is able to attack opponents during this short period. The attacks don't deal damage, however, until your Time Erasure ends. However, using your R will ragdoll them. This can be easily avoided by guarding. Or just running. Or countering.

Leg Slam
King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe slams the enemies ankle with its leg, ragdolling anyone it hits. If this hits someone, they will be slowed and the limbs KCR:AU hit will be stuck ragdolled for 20 seconds with a bleed effect that deals 4 damage every second. This uses up 45 stamina.

B
Timeskip King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe erases time, except it skips immediately, where everyone moves 13 studs in the direction they are moving. This also skips past any attacks happening, making them not do any damage since they were skipped. Though, this doesnt apply to your attacks.

Parry
While blocking, King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe is able to quickly jab an attacking enemy to deal moderate damage and knock them back a large distance. If you hit the opponent while theyā€™re attacking with this, their attack will be cancelled.

C
Slide Rather than just rolling on the floor, King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe's user slides forwards. It has a larger travel distance than a roll and has a slightly shorter cooldown. When you bump into someone during this move, they will ragdoll. This uses up 5 stamina.

Note: If you time your slide, you can go under thrown knives, dodging them. You can also do it with the Space Ripper Stingy Eyes, however, it's more difficult.

Stand Propulsion King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe uses its legs to blast itself and the user forward. This type of stand jump is similar to Gold Experience Requiem's (before it's rework), in that it has lower vertical and higher horizontal distance. However, it isn't as strong.

V
Alternate Erasure Shift
King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe erases time very briefly, teleporting its user 7 studs forward in the direction they're moving. This can teleport you through enemies as well as allow you to hit almost immediately after doing so due to this move being usable during other moves. And this skill can also teleport through thin walls. It's a good idea to use this move to set up flank attacks. Or running away, whichever you want.

J
Stand Control
Using this move will allow you to control your Stand and walk around as it with no limit. However, you would become unable to control your character. You can swap back by pressing the V button again within 8 studs of your character. Though, the stand is able to also take damage, but only takes 87% of any damage taken.

Trivia[]

King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe:[]

  • Voicelines: "Well, that will do for now.", "This is indeed the end result of a world called ā€œme.ā€", "It is frustrating..to find yourself unable to proceed further...", and "Good grief. I'm not good at fighting, but I guess it can't be helped."
    • The line "This is indeed the end result of a world called ā€œme.ā€" is spoken by KCR:AU rather than its user, being reflected by the text appearing above KCR:AU's head.
  • The Diavolo of this universe does not seem to be a villain or own a gang and is a core ally instead. He is supposedly more like an unprovoked Vinegar Doppio in personality.
  • The voicelines of this Stand are sourced from Amakusa Shirou of Fate/Grand Order, voiced by Kōki Uchiyama.
  • When posing, it plays a remix of The Battle of Award 42.
  • The stand has two poses unlike most stands, being for the two separate modes.

Monochromatic King Crimson Requiem: Alternate Universe:[]

  • When posing, it plays Rush Hour.
  • Its attack particles/effects are also changed from red to monochrome, this includes the Stand's Epitaph.
