Summary[]
The Egg Hunt was a special event in which the user had to collect around 10 to 20 of each egg in ABD as a part of a quest/objective. When done, the user will complete a part of this Easter Event as mentioned by The Menacing Bunny. These eggs, however, can and will despawn if not picked up after a while of spawning. This event ended on April 16th, 2020.
Upon completing the entire quest (completing all objectives) you will receive an "Eggsmetic". An Eggsmetic is a "Cosmetic" that sits on the player's shoulder, however, they have no features other than decoration purposes which hence the name "Eggsmetic".
The Eggsmetics can be also found here in the Cosmetics page.
Magician's Yolk[]
Magician's Yolk spawns around the Map. These eggs spawn very frequently around the map. Magician's Yolk is the most common egg you can find in this Event. This egg will, however, despawn after a while. This egg is also known as Magician's Red's egg, due to its appearance and it being a reference towards Magician's Red's appearance as a bird.
The egg's appearance is a reference to Magician's Red, a stand featured in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.
Upon collecting 20 of these eggs, the user will complete a part of the Easter Event quest. However, this quest is only a part of working towards getting an "Eggsmetic" cosmetic in the game.
However, these Eggs don't have a "chance to spawn", as it has a guaranteed spawn time. The only random factor for this egg is its spawn location. For the spawn the locations, it spawns everywhere, in every corner. You will have to explore the map. to find these eggs, similar to the Soft & Scrambled eggs.
Soft & Scrambled[]
Soft & Scrambled is similar to Magician's Yolk, as it also spawns around the map. These eggs are rarer than Magician's Yolk. They spawn less frequently. Soft & Scrambled is also a common egg you can find in this Event, however, unlike Magician's Red egg, this will take more than an hour to find 20 of them. This egg will despawn after a while. This Egg is also known as Soft & Wet's egg.
This egg's appearance is a reference to Soft & Wet. Upon collecting 20 of these eggs, the user will complete a part of the Easter Event quest. However, this quest is only a part of working towards getting an "Eggsmetic" cosmetic in the game.
Just like Magician's Yolk, these Eggs don't have a "chance to spawn", as it has a guaranteed spawn time. The only random factor for this egg is its spawn location. For the spawn the locations, it spawns everywhere, in every corner. You will have to explore the map. to find these eggs, similar to the Magician's Yolk eggs.
The Omelette[]
The Omelette is obtainable by defeating DIO, a boss that spawns every 60 minutes at DIO's Coffin. However, defeating Dio Brando, another NPC boss will not drop this egg. This egg will also despawn after a while, however, and unlike other eggs in this list, this egg doesn't have a "chance" to spawn. Instead, the user has to defeat a boss NPC in order to obtain this egg.
This egg's appearance is a reference to The World's head design. Upon collecting 2 of these eggs, the user will complete the final part of the quest. Do note that these Eggs don't have a "chance to spawn", as killing DIO will guarantee a "The Omelette" egg. This quest is also only a part of working towards getting an "Eggsmetic" cosmetic in the game.
For the spawn the locations, It will drop where DIO dies, or where the user killed DIO. Unlike other eggs however, this egg can be collected multiple times by multiple players, in order for everyone that contributed to killing DIO can get the egg.
Deviled Snake[]
The Deviled Snake Egg can be found by punching or barraging Menacing Dummies. These Dummies can be found around Peaceful Park. However, It has a chance to actually spawn, as punching or barraging it once will not always drop this egg. According to the Trello, there is only a chance tor this egg to drop each time you deal damage towards the Menacing Dummy.
For example, a Kars user would need to hit a Menacing Dummy several times (around 20 to 30 times) until it will drop via the Menacing Dummy dropping it. With a Basic Barrage, however, you can get around 2-6 of these eggs, due to a barrage containing several punched.
This egg's appearance is a reference to Whitesnake's head. Collecting 10 you'll complete a part of the quest. For the spawn locations of Deviled Snake's egg, it will spawn exactly where the dummy is hit via the user's punch of barrage. This egg will also despawn after a while if the user does not pick it up after the dummy drops it.
Killer Side Up[]
The Killer Side Up egg spawns when a player is killed. Every time a player is killed, this egg will spawn with a very small chance. Killer Side up is also a common egg you can find in this Event, as the user only needs to kill a player. This egg will despawn after a while. The spawn location of Killer Side Up will be where the player had died/was killed by the user. Collecting 15 of these eggs will complete a part of the quest.
The egg's design is a reference to Killer Queen's head, however, shaped in the design of an egg or an oval-shaped design, with its ears and some more simple looking features, such as its eyes, facial features (the lines on both side of the face) and mouth.
Note: The stand Killer Queen is not needed for this egg. The context for this is that people were spreading rumors about users needing to kill opponents wielding Killer Queen as a stand, which will eventually drop the egg. This is, however, not true, as killing anyone works. The reason for this rumor is due to the fact that Killer Side Up wasn't dropping when someone is killed, however this is due to the fact that there is only a rare chance that this egg will actually drop when an opponent is killed.
Pot Egginum[]
Pot Egginum spawns when the user is in the same server as a Staff/Developer of the game. The developer of the game can make the egg(s) spawn around the server/around the map all at the same time. it's said you need to kill the developer to have them drop the egg but this is not true, as all you need to do is wait for them to possibly spawn the eggs into the game you're in.
You can only collect one, running into other ones will not collect them and has no effect on anything. Upon collecting one of the Pot Egginum eggs, you will be given a Eggsmetic, which puts a Pot Egginum cosmetic on the user's shoulder.
The egg's design is a reference to Pot Platinum's head but, made into the shape of an egg. The user would only need 1 of these to claim its reward, or its "Eggsmetic". However, do note that collecting this egg does not do anything major to the user or the stand of the user/give any major changes/appearance for the user or to the user's stand, as it only gives the user one cosmetic on his/her shoulder.
Note: This egg is not apart of the quest, just meant to be a collectable egg/cosmetic for running into a developer of the game.
Tips and Tricks[]
- It is recommended using King Crimson, Made In Heaven, C-Moon or Sticky Fingers to make the hunt easier.
- Eggs can spawn in various places, so you should look inside houses, between houses or in the map's corners.
- Have a friend/alt to help you complete the Killer Side Up quest.
- The Deviled Snake egg might take a while to collect all of them, but if you gather the dummies, you can easily obtain it. You need to use both Barrage and LMB to spawn it.
- It has been requested that players don't ask the developers to spawn in the Pot Egginum. If you wish to get the egg just wait and see if the developer spawns the egg(s) in.
- Note: There will not be a D4C egg, as it is only accessed by ABD staff.
- These cannot be traded.
